Monkey Bread

This breakfast treat is really sweet, but it's great for special occasions, when you have guests for brunch or just every once in a while when you feel like it.

Ingredients:
  • 2 12 oz cans refrigerated biscuits (more or less depending on the size of your pan)
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
  • 3/4 cup white sugar, mixed with cinnamon
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bundt pan or monkey bread pan.

Cut the biscuits into fourths. Dip each piece in melted butter then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place in bundt or monkey bread pan.

Melt the other stick of butter with the brown sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring to combine. Pour the mixture over the biscuit pieces in the pan.

Bake for approximately 40 minutes. Once the top is golden brown, cover with aluminum foil. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Turn monkey bread out onto a plate and enjoy warm.
